The Randstad RiseSmart coaches assist job seekers in finding a sustainable job that suits them. They get to know themselves and the labour market and can count on our guidance, even after finding a job.

What does an employability programme look like?

  • intake: The coach will discuss what the job seeker wants, can do and expects. Together they look for the candidate's strengths and energy boosters. Then they'll see where these talents can best be deployed.
  • learning to apply for jobs: The coach draws up a tailor-made plan for finding a job. During several workshops, the candidate learns to apply more effectively. 
  • finding work: The coach and candidate explore the best channels to find a new job. They select vacancies, start to network and contact target companies. Together they create a strong CV and prepare job reviews. 
  • start working: The coach prepares the candidate for the new position and supports the new employee during the first weeks on the job. Language coaching in the workplace can also be an added value.

Randstad RiseSmart Employability joins forces with VDAB to achieve that goal in a unique project called “bemiddelingsvoucher”!  It is with a special type of voucher, which is called a mediation voucher and is recently launched. With intensive, goal-oriented coaching, you get a permanent coach who guides you from A to Z in your search for new work. 

That job search proceeds in 5 steps:

  1. intake: you meet your coach and discuss where you want to go. On this basis, you map out your personal route.
  2. orientation, if necessary. You get to know yourself and the job market. So you know where you stand.
  3. approach. Your coach prepares you to apply for a job well prepared. Together you consider how to go about it.
  4. action! Time to get out there. To approach employers and convince them that you have what they need. Your coach will also actively look for a job for you.
  5. aftercare. Found a job? Then your coach continues to follow you for a while to make sure everything is going well.
