a focus on talent fluidity
While most talent leaders consider redeployment to be effective, its usage has not been consistent in recent years. It has grown notably in the U.S. since 2023 (up from 35% to 45%), but utilization has fallen in the U.K. and Australia (down 8% and 15%, respectively). On the other hand, more than half of U.K. leaders say they are completely ready for any redeployment action that is needed in the next 12 months; 34% in Australia feel the same way.
Readiness is often a function of the services offered through redeployment. In Germany, employers are helping workers search and train for new opportunities, while in Australia resume/branding support is most important.
