Diversity programs have come under attack leading to the unraveling of many successful programs across the country. At the same time, we estimate that more than 500,000 new jobs will be created in the clean energy industry over the next 10 years. This session will focus on why diversity remains an important priority in America, and especially in the clean energy industry.

We will be joined by Marcus Bullock, a nationally recognized and celebrated entrepreneur and social justice advocate. Mr. Bullock has been featured in the Washington Post, Forbes magazine and several Ted Talks. He will bring his inspirational story of how he went from being charged as an adult at 15 for a violent crime, to changing his life and creating and building several successful companies. He has a message for all of us as we consider the importance of diversity and second chances.

We will follow the keynote address with a panel discussion on building a diverse workforce in the clean energy sector with both thought leaders and industry pioneers.
