The EVP - Vertical Industry Leader is responsible for providing strategic direction, operational excellence, and innovative growth within a specific industry vertical. Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, this leader will drive client relationships, deliver superior service with a focus on specialization and operational excellence, and expand global/regional programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, proven leadership in RPO and MSP delivery, and a strong track record of managing enterprise-level, multi-location clients. This role emphasizes client-centricity, industry thought leadership, and superior delivery to enhance Randstad Sourceright’s position as a global market leader.
Key responsibilities of the role include industry expertise and strategy development, exceptional service delivery and vertical expansion, innovation and thought leadership, global collaboration and management, financial management, and where appropriate, country management. The role holder will have proven experience in a senior leadership role with expertise in strategy development and financial management, and the ability to manage global and/or multi-country teams.
Alongside account expansion, this role is responsible for driving and leading teams to provide a superior delivery experience and account partnership to multi-country, complex fortune 5000 clients. The leader will have a strong focus on financial and legislative accountability.
Strategic Leadership and Industry Expertise
- Using the Enterprise business strategy as the foundation, develop and execute industry-specific strategies within the region that align with the organization’s global objectives.
- Lead with a deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities within the vertical.
- Act as a trusted partner to clients within the vertical including to C-suite executives, leveraging industry knowledge to provide strategic insights.
- Lead the development and implementation of global/regional account roadmaps, identifying and executing growth opportunities.
- Establish the organization as a thought leader by driving innovation and sharing best practices through industry forums and publications. Ensuring all regional teams aligned to the industry are part of the global community of practice actively contributing to asset development and sharing best practices.
- Lead and develop partnership strategy within the respective vertical. Partnership approach should include a balance of strategic oversight, operational management, and relationship-building to create a robust and effective partner strategy for contingent recruitment.
- Lead and develop account teams within the portfolio to provide superior operational service and delivery to customers and to identify, plan for and pursue expansion opportunities
- In collaboration with marketing, drive the branding, social media strategy and overall events and campaigns (both virtual and in-person) to establish Randstad Sourceright as a dominant player in the vertical.
- Actively participate in the global vertical forums and lead functional collaboration across the organisation to drive expertise and intelligence within vertical and for customers
Client-Centric Service Delivery
- Manage and expand global, multi country or multi state, client programs, ensuring alignment with client needs and contractual obligations.
- Oversee delivery teams to ensure superior service delivery, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Drive account expansion in partnership with the Sales team, by nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and identifying opportunities for additional service offerings.
- Act as the senior escalation point for operational issues, ensuring seamless and efficient client program execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive technology strategies and innovative solutions that enhance client value.
Operational Excellence and Global Collaboration
- Coordinate with global/regional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality solutions for multinational clients.
- Ensure alignment with the Enterprise Target Operating model and location strategy.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing across global accounts and regions.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and contractual requirements within assigned regions.
- Promote continuous improvement through the adoption of LEAN principles and other best practices.
Financial Management and Growth
- Drive financial performance by setting and managing budgets, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring profitability.
- Drive growth and expansion of the industry portfolio in collaboration with RESC and GO
- Monitor financial data to assess program effectiveness, taking corrective action when necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Contribute to sales efforts, delivering year-over-year growth and EBITA profitability.
- Lead initiatives to expand the organization’s "share of wallet" with existing clients and identify opportunities for direct hiring solutions.
Team Leadership and Development
- Inspire and lead global/regional teams, fostering an inclusive and high-performing culture.
- Lead and collaborate with the Learning team to create training interventions to deepen vertical expertise and build talent advisory capabilities within delivery teams.

The base salary range for this position is $240,000.00-$312,000.00

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate’s total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
